I like airplanes

Hi, I'm Dan. I've been flying for over 25 years and began instructing this year.

I'm a longtime member of Cap City Flyers at KMSN and have extensive experience in the Piper Archer, Cessna 182RG and Diamond DA40 with G3X, G1000, GNS430 and GTN650 avionics. I like traveling cross country and have flown to Florida, Washington state and New England for family vacations.

I primarily instruct evenings and weekends and am available for flight reviews, aircraft checkouts, high performance and complex endorsements, or just because you feel a little rusty. I'm pursuing my CFII and plan to provide instrument instruction and IPCs in the future.

I also enjoy other hobbies that involve the fluid properties of air, including sailing and hang gliding. Otherwise I can be found hiking, traveling or scuba diving with my family. I also serve on the board of directors for the Madison Astronomical Society.

Text, call or email to schedule.
